Thumbs up Bouncing Betty

Been tearing her down and mitgating the rust. Just got the 'cylinder' lock keys for doors/boxes. (#LL25 keyed cylinders - Cleveland Hardware latch)

Got rust penetrating catalyst into everything. I got three out of five working really nice.

But...

My underbody toolboxes are JAMMED!!! Locks appear to be in the 'open' position. However, they will not budge.

I'd rather not slice/dice right now or spend a day drilling out rivets. Of course if i have to i will..

Is there something im missing? Does not seem to have any other locking devices and the boxes are completely empty???

Let me know whatcha think????

I think that mine are stuck too......

I will be watching to see what solutions present themselves.

Good luck.

I think someone tried to open those locks forcefully. Broke the shaft inside that turns the mechanism. Maybe drill the lock out and replace them.
