Movie theater seats were removed from dollar theater. Where are you located? YOu may be able to find some at your local habitat for humanity (re-store) I believe there are still some available at the one in Zanesville. They are awesome

Columbus here!! thanks for the tip on Zanesville I may just have to check that out... are they in sets of 2 or did you cut them down? I like the idea of nutserts to take them in and out... put felt on the bottoms of the feet so they dont trash your floor and you are set.. use stainless steel hardware since ohio loves to rust any bolt sticking through the floor in about 10 seconds flat...

They can be bolted together in any number of configurations.

I did 2 and 2 for the kitchen area obviously. And then a set of 3 which I will be removing for the time being.

Some chairs share armrests or whatever, but everything bolts together easily. Then theres bolts at the base to attach to the floor. There's also little flanges on the side which make it extremely easy to attach seatbelts.

I want to find another for the other side.

I removed the rails from the inside and Drilled holes for Bolts and fender washers to sandwich the metal. Pretty easy install and it has worked well for me so far.

Going down the road I use zip ties to keep everything taught. Will probably have the wife make a few nice Velcro straps to put around everything.

Got the cabinet doors on last night. I have to make a couple false drawers where my sink will go and custom make drawers for the other two spaces.

So I've got the two drawers done, and the shelves on the end. Can never have enough storage.

I'm hoping to have the countertops mounted and sink installed soon but we will see. I'm leaning away from any cabinets above the countertop. I think it feels more confined when you do that. I would add storage in the basement before I did that.

Thanks, Its kind of crude, but sturdier than I will ever need and cheap.

I plan on just finishing them with a little food grade butcher block oil and maybe some glass epoxy.

This might sound obvious enough to be dumb, but do one or the other, not both. If you oil the wood, the epoxy won't stick.

Right on, I already have the oil so that's probably what I will do.

Bristol

So I haven't don't much updating or commenting on here, but I have been using my bus pretty much just the way it is.

Gives me a chance to figure out what needs changed, and what works best for me.

So far everything has been working great for me and we have had a lot of fun.

Attached are some recent photos.

Some from a group of us guys who went to Bristol, and one of my son. he loves the bus.

This coming weekend we will be tailgating.
