I've chosen an official name for my conversion; BlackEagle Navigator. It has multiple meanings to me: BlackEagle-the name my brother used when we first started gaming together, and its a symbol for him because he's in the Air Force, protecting our country. Navigator, because this is going to be an RV, which travels everywhere. Navigator also has another meaning behind it; NaviGATOR, and a GATOR is Florida's Mascot, and I live in Florida, where this journey began.

Wait! We're not done yet. Lots of names reside in the back of everyone's minds.

Contrary to popular belief not everyone knew Fernandina Beach was in FL, not that it would have made much of a difference.

You like long bus names rooted in personal history. It's hard to compete with that.

Speaking of long names...

...one I actually considered for my rig was...

"Hotel Tango de Isla Giatt Scenic Tours"

(The Isla Giatt is...It Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time)

I will likely just go with Hotel Tango.

How about "Bussy McBusFace"?

I know you've picked a name already, just had to pile on.

"The Dark Knight" would work well with your color scheme.

I wanted to say BACK IN BLACK but you would have to go somewhere to be back?
My children named mine but they were really into the Pirates of the Caribbean at the time. And for now the bus number is only in my screen name but the bus has been faithful to me and I almost believe in the old saying about changing a BOATS name? Almost?
Don't think my bus has cared? up to this point.
What I have called it because if it ever had a problem it was because I neglected something. But nothing major up to now.

Lol, I wasnt closing the topic. I still wanted to smile and laugh at the replies and see what everyone would come up with. And yes, it is hard to compete with the personal history related names, but at the time I didn't know I was going to end up choosing that name.

Ok, we'll see how long that name lasts. I've often wished I'd used a different bus name. It still works though. Nobody is up there. Nobody is leaving. Nobody needs fuel. You know, late at night you'll get these great ideas for bus names and then can't remember them the next day. Nobody forgets.

I call mine Brunhilde, to go along with my scooter, Fafnir. It has nothing to do with my screen name, CaptSquid, but it does go along with my Germanic heritage.

I found a fully grown cat that I gave to my nephew for his birthday. I called him "Orange Kitty". It just came to me out of the blue.... He loved to jump on their dog's back while it ran around the yard. Then they would curl up together and sleep.

My dad had a cat named orange also, do imagination when it came to naming her. Fucker pissed all over the only bed available when I visited one time, didn't find out till 2 am when I went to go to bed. Name fit at that time: Orange you glad you're not here for me to strangle you?

Navigator reminds me of the Navigator grill in Florida. Ever tried deep fried, chocolate covered twinkies? I like the "the black knight". We plan black with purple for ours. It is likely to just be referred to as "the bus"

I have an orange with black trim bus. My kid named it the General Lee. So I just had to put a Dixie air horn on it.

For the record, my bus will be called The S.N.A.F.U. Bus. (are just SNAFU) Like my "female" side, I'm also comfortable knowing my skill set, ain't what I'd like it to be, and fully expect some issues.
I was originally going to name it Crazy Bear, after the name my kids named me, when they were small, and we were in Indian Guides. Awe, those were some good times.

Carry on.....
