Re: CHANGED AGAIN! THIS WILL BE IT!!

Absolutely! I work on it just about everyday during the week from 330pm to 7 or 730pm. Takes a lot to pry me away from this project!

Re: CHANGED AGAIN! THIS WILL BE IT!!

Today I ran some pex tubing for the shower valve. I would recommend using the pex. Its much easier than the CPVC pipe. Basically just cut and clamp.

Guy I work with had some leftover pex tubing that he gave me and also let me borrow his clamping tool.

That would suck!

(And yes, I do know that from experience.)

Re: CHANGED AGAIN! THIS WILL BE IT!!

your bus is coming along nicely. wish i could remember where i left my balls so i could tell the wife we're getting one like it or not!

till then i'll just live vicariously through you guys.

where north of boston are you? you should be close to jake von slatt. he's got an amazing bus.

one of these days i'm gonna make a road trip up your way and check some of these things out. maybe even bring the wife along in hopes of getting her to see the light.

till then i guess i'll just have to be content with my trusty old toyota sunrader. damn, i wish that thing was a little bit bigger.

HA. HA. Thank you. Jake Von Slatt is about 15-20 minutes from me. But he doesn't seem to be to active on this site. I also emailed him with no response.

BAILEY BOONDOGGLE lives 3 minutes from my house and he is converting the same bus. No relation. We just happened to hook up on here.

Pete C. If you ever do want to come this way you can swing by and see my bus and Bozo's bus and kill two buses with one stone!

Re: CHANGED AGAIN! THIS WILL BE IT!!

Well, not too much to report lately. It took me a while to get some of the tinting done. I ended up cutting the tint a little too short so I had to touch it up with black pinstriping and follow it up with some black silicone around the edge of the glass. WHAT A TEDIOUS JOB THAT WAS.

I still have some windows in the back to do. But I will cut the tint accordingly this time.

I also cut out the opening for the furnace and I am about to start the kitchen cabinets. But I am kind of nervous starting construction before having the stove in hand to test fit. Even though they list the cutout dimensions. I still have my doubts.

Today I got the water pump, tank plumbing done. Took me a while at Lowes to get all the fittings and adaptors I needed. The little brass cylinders in the picture are check valves. So when I have city water hooked up, it does not back up into the tanks. And when I am using water from the tanks it won't back up to the water inlet.
