I've seen much worse. Water up to the bottom of the second story of a canal lock house, dropping into the lock from over the top bar of the railing by the sidewalk. Any way you look at it, Mother Nature is impressive.
BTW, it took me about 5 minutes to spot the mill on Google Earth, working outward from the home of the Spinners. The photo must have been taken in or by the gazebo. Ain't technology wunnerful?

WOW REDBEAR, YOU ARE GOOD!! YUP, right near the gazebo. I was standing at the railing. Damn, one would have thought you lived around here

Yeah, I really enjoy rivers and streams when they are flowing high.

I grew up less than 45 miles away as the crow flies. Your area wasn't my stomping grounds, but we did cross mill country in northeast Mass on Route 110 headed for vacations up until I-495 was completed. I moved west, but my sister moved Down East, so I sail through on one interstate or another every couple of years.

Re: CHANGED AGAIN! THIS WILL BE IT!!

Thanks. I'm usually blowing through on a schedule, but will keep it in mind.

Re: CHANGED AGAIN! THIS WILL BE IT!!

CAMO, those are one way valves. One valve is on the city water line and the other is on the tank water. So when hooked up to city water, the water won't back up into the tank.

If I am using water from the tank, it won't back up into the city water inlet.
