I'm sure I'm way late on this but, lag bolts tend to loosen over time. For future projects use ledger locks. They are made specifically for securing ledger boards for decks. They come in many different sizes and lengths. They hold a stronger bond between the two boards and will not loosen up over time. I am loving the whole roof deck with the hatch and skylights! Keep up the good work and post some finished pictures!
