Amazing what a decent tablesaw with a good fence can do for improving quality!

I've added a few photo's since I last posted on this board, for anyone following my conversion project.
I'll post update about once a week until I finish.

Very nice work indeed. I like your choice of the Red Oak and tiled floor, they both look very nice together. Paint job is great too, you can still tell that it's a bus, but it really looks like a spiffy Winnebago or something, Great work!

Btw... how do you like your "Sleep Number" bed... been thinking bout getting one, or one of those "Tempur-Pedic" beds.

Hi Dan-o,

Thanks for your kind comments.

I haven't had a chance to try the sleep number bed yet...I hope to have a review for you very soon!

OK, now I'm REALLY getting close to being finished. If all goes according to schedule (What's the chance?) I'll be rolling a completed coach in about 2 weeks.
Here are the latest pics...

I saw a bus like yours yesterday that I would have sworn was yours. It was so nicely done that I didn't know it was even a converted schoolbus until I saw a Bluebird symbol painted on the side toward the back. I didn't have my camera with me dang it. I know yours is a different make but I couldn't remember when I saw it. Your bus is looking sweet!! Top notch!! You have put A1 stuff into it and the craftsmanship is super! Are you a tradesman?

Looking really good, what a great job. Looks just like a new house.

"The icemaker line is ready for connection to the 18cf Frigidaire. This will be quite a treat from me, as I've never had an icemaker, and consider myself somewhat of an ice connoisseur." It must be a Colorado thing. I love ice too. I always tell my wife that when we get in a house again I am going to get an old hotel ice maker.

Busone,

Since I was born and raised mostly on the Gulf Coast, it's probably not just a Colorado thing, but maybe the ice thing has something to do with buses...
