I would take the 8.3 any day, at 151,000 it is just broken in. The gasser is well into its life. Unless you plan to put a ton of miles on it you will probably never have to do anything serious to it. I would get an oil sample though and have it analyzed to be sure it is a healthy engine on whatever you choose.
