Re: "DER BUS"

Wow, lots of underbelly storage! I'm looking forward to seeing how you build and install the boxes. I'll bet you're enjoying that roof rack!

Re: "DER BUS"

How much you think that roof top deck weighs all together? I got quite a bit of weight behind the rear axle. I am thinking of adding a roof top system similar to yours on the front half of the bus. I am hoping it will keep my front end down and eliminate the feeling of pulling a wheelie. My only concern is doing a barrel roll when taking a corner on some of the backroads I got to take.

Re: "DER BUS"

I dont have a clue.....I was only concerned with total weight on each axle. Do you know how much weight is on each one of your axles? Six ore seven bucks will get you that info at some truck stops.

Err...you probably know this, but I think you'll need to move the licence plate to the back of your storage box!

Re: "DER BUS"

I'm looking forward to seeing the results! I know for me it just seemed like a whole new bus after I painted mine.

Re: "DER BUS"

Nice Bus! Bet your neighbors like it to!
I have some stuff out of an old 1940 or 50 something travel trailer, real potty, small cast iron tub, bathroom sink ,a propane frig, and a small stove if you need any of that stuff, when you get finished with the fence.
