so i made a bit of progress yesterday, with the help of the wife we got all the seats unbolted and mostly out in a pile in the yard.... took all day! and i got to crawl around under to bus and get a good look.

i dont see any rust

and here we have some leaky bits... a mechanic told me it might be the torque converter, but it is loosing oil as well. i will pull the head and replace the gasket, however i will have to have someone else do the transmission

this was a surprise, only one battery? i thought two was standard?

this is gonna be fun....

to be continued...

Overall...it looks very clean & rust free underneath. And, your electrical may be complicated but also appears to be well organized.

God luck on the leaks, here's hoping they are easy fixes.

quick update, got all the seats out and all the crap off the floor...

there are many like it but this pile of bench seats is mine.

and here is the inside. not too bad... a little surface rust. but nothing major.

keeping two seats for the breakfast nook.

Thinking about tackling the leaks in this monster before i plan the roof raise and ripping the rest of the inner panels out.

lost lunch money, 2.77 SCORE!!!

chickens seem totally indifferent to it all...

Two usually is, but you can fit an 8D for starting in there without any problems.
