Re: Dr Lulu's Folly

For the tank that will go under the bed, why not build a slight tilt into that section of floor with tapering wood strips and plywood, such that the supply line will be at the lowest point?

Re: Dr Lulu's Folly

your bus is looking good,

when you covered your 2 back windows , did you remove them?, or frame them in? Im thinking about covering ours up, but Im thinking that condensation will run off the glass into the insulation. With that being said, I really dont want to take the glass out, just frame and cover

tks

Re: Dr Lulu's Folly

Not sure how much condensation would be a problem while a wood stove is burning. They tend to suck up moisture from the air. Growing up in an old home (over 100 yrs old) our wood stoves did a hella job of drying out the house and our sinuses.

What are you thinking about doing with your windows?

cheers

Im thinking Im going to build half walls under the windows, and limo tinting , then just hang curtins, I think it will look ok, and wont have to worry about condensaion, we live in the cold, and then bus will be parked for most of the winter, till we can become snow birds.
Ill have pics posted when I get it finnished (soon I hope)
