Didn't get any video- but the neightbors did get a charge out of it.... now that the paint is on and she's not a "big ugly bus" they are curious about what I've done.

Great Job! Good luck to you and the family. May the Bus Gods be with you.

I would not like to be the one in front of you, as they tell their insurance company "I was rear ended by 6 wiennies and a shish-ka-bob"
(not to mention the "Caca Cannon" "Fecal Firearm" "ASS-ault Weapon""Rectum Rifle" - somebody stop me!)

Oh and if there is one thing I know how to do better than build a conversion bus- it's BBQ anything and everything- I even make pizza on my grill- yes pizza. Wood fire, a nice big bake stone= one wood fired pizza oven. Everyone know thinks I should go on the professional BBQ circuit.

Re: Duckf00t's DONE!! Final Piece in... "Day-by-Day"

Dude, you totally missed the point when they said to install the grill on the front of the bus after you paint!

Seriously though...If you could keep the grill going while traveling you could rig up a pull cord on the lid and if a deer jumps in front of you, you just open the lid and catch him. By the time you get where your going dinner should be ready. A hydraulic actuator would be pretty cool. You have air brakes dont you? Use the air opener from the door to open the lid on the grill!!

I like it on there though. Wont you cook the paint off the front of the bus? or is it detachable? You HAVE to paint teeth around the edges of the grill like the old fighter planes!

The way this burns the paint should be fine. I have a 3" spacers holding it out from the body. The bumper is another inch from the body, so 4" should be a good aircushion.

Great idea about the lid... munch, munch...
Yep- the kids say we should paint it like a dragon- the headlights are eyes. Maybe sometime I will.
