Eleanor

Hello Everybody,

My wife and I brought this home a few weeks ago. 1984 International S1800 9.0L V8 Diesel with a Thomas body. Starts on first try. Runs well. Steering tracks straight with no detent. Brakes don't pull to either side. Parking brake doesn't work. Just over 200,000 miles. Wide open does 60 mph. Don't plan on running it over 55. Has a leak in the steering box. Tires aren't perfect. But, a decent amount of life left. Normal amount of rust in the floor.

I have a Class A CDL. I've driven some scary things. But, this bus is solid. Was very surprised how well it drives when we took it home.

Best part...We paid $500.00

Seats are coming out just fine. About half of the bolts have nuts underneath. None are stuck. Floor coming out next.

Wife has named her Eleanor.
