Epic Trails Video Logs

We bought a 1999 66 passenger Bluebird Transit style bus with a 5.9L cummins and 150K miles. We are going to try and upload videos every Sunday of the project. We are in week two so far. We have kept a very quick pace that we hope we can keep up for as long as possible.

Another Week

Another week has passed! How is that possible? Well short video for this week. Lots of grinding and prepping the floor. Click the grinder going to heaven for the video.

Thank you. Will do.

It is taking more energy to get everything recorded, edited and posted than I originally anticipated. Oh well. "Maximum effort!"

Nice cabinets and flooring. Keep up the good work.

Is there a special purpose for the hanging bed?

Only one corner is hanging. It is screwed to the side wall and the built wall. The reason is so I don't have any legs underneath in case I need to get something larger through the door it leaves it available.

I've thought of hinging a bed frame to the wall on one side while hanging it on the isle side so it could fold up against the wall.

It's often so hard to get some items inside the bus.

I thought about doing that too but decided against it. Went back and forth for a week thinking about that, but in the end decided on more sturdy.

I agree. I ended up not wanting a fold up a bed or anything else that had to be moved around for day versus night use.

Finally had time to post a new video!

The bus isn't ready yet/

This isn't a build video, but a trip video.

I like it. A lot of fail, but at least you're honest about it!
