Fifth wheel skoolie?

Hi all. Might anyone know how this hitch was done?
Hopefully the small picture will show up of a skoolie conversion that someone put a fifth wheel hitch on.
I thought it was rather creative, and am curious how was done.

Thanks.
Don.

Re: Fifth wheel skoolie?

They chopped off the frame, and welded the tongue directly to the ends of the frame.

I have seen a few done this way. That's one of the cleaner looking ones. Here are a few pics. This is not a bus, but the same idea.

Hope they answer your questions.

Wow. That first pirate build is amazing.
Thanks for the pics and links. I had no idea so many transformations have been done.
