Finally Got My Bus!

I finally got to purchase my bus this week!
1991 International Diesel, 48 passenger
155k miles on the engine, runs but needs rear brake pads and rotors soon.

Only cost me $2000 and the guy delivered it from over an hour away because I was having a hard time getting out to where he lived.

First thing I wanted to do was raise the roof, but winter in rapidly approaching and we've already seen some snow nearby, so I guess I'll spend the winter buying all the stuff I need and then I'll take a few weeks vacation to do as much as I can in spring.

I've been dreaming of doing something like this my whole life, so I literally teared up sitting in the driver seat when I bought it ahaha.

Eventually I plan to have it solar powered and running on vegetable oil, my line of work gives me access to a basically unlimited free supply.

I've never undertaken a project like this, any tips, recommendations, lists of things I NEED to buy and so forth are definitely welcome.

Not sure if you noticed but the guy that delivered your bus forgot his friend in the back.
