Flinty, the full time live aboard project

Hi folks,
I'm a returning member. After several years off I am back with a lot of progress made on my bus. I am living in it full time although there are still a few things I need to finish (big surprise... like I'll ever be done). Check out my website for the story of my conversion. Would love your feedback.

Welcome back. I feel you about the perpetual state of construction, I prefer to call it evolution.

Google "Dr. Lulu's school bus"
I got it to pull it up that way.

Try this link. If it doesn't work from here it will work if you type it right in to your browser.
Thanks for the welcome Head in the Trees... and I like the idea of evolution

I visited Boulder last year. Expensive place, but very nice.
Nice looking bus!

Got to see your site finally. Very cool bus, and you seem like a very cool person. I like how you explained your ideals and your dedication to the use of sustainable materials in your build. Very nicely done. I might make it out to CO early next year to do some riding, hopefully in my future skoolie build. I'd love to share some tea and ideas with you.

We will be in Co as well! Probably Co Springs then north to ft collins.
My favorite tea shop is in ft collins.

Nice, we can circle the skoolies up somewhere :P

Might go look at this one soon. Its in really good shape, only 160k on the 7.3l and very cheap. But its a bit shorter than I think I can deal with, could just barely fit 2 sleds in there. Would be an amazing 4x4 conversion though, with such a short wheelbase/footprint it would drive almost just like a pickup (with proper suspension setup of course.) Would look pretty clean with the set of 8-lug 20" XD's and 33" tires I've got sitting in storage atm. Wouldn't work w/o a srw axle tho, and I doubt I'll be doing that swap.

ps, sorry for the threadjack :P

Let me know when the party is! I split my time between Boulder and Denver.
