I am not sure what a standard RV door is but the one is 30" x 72". I got a great deal on in. Only paid: $165.00

Re: Good News Bus Conversion Project
The last few days I have got a lot accomplished on the bus. Both the black water and grey water tanks are installed and almost plumbed. I moved the battery bank to a new and better location. The washer /dryer combo is installed with only a little plumbing left to do. I will have pics on the blog as soon as I can!!!!

Yep!
I'm not sure if I will be annoyed with not being able to see out that door. I am thinking of adding a small window near the bottom of the door to help with this. Even if I do the screen would be in front of the window limiting the visibility some. I’m also not sure if that would decrease the integrity of the door to go cutting on it. Not really sure how well it is constructed.
What do you think?

Re: Good News Bus Conversion Project
As far as I can tell their main strength comes from the frame. Putting another small window in it should not effect the strength much.

This is our project. A 1995 International Flat Nose Genesis School Bus with an Amtran Body. It is powered by an International 7.6-liter DT466 Turbo Diesel Engine and has a Allison Transmission. It only has 110,000 miles on it so it should have a lot of life left. We will be doing a complete change of the interior and exterior. The bus will also be outfitted with full living quarters, kitchen, bathroom. We may end up using this as a tour bus for our band / ministry.
We are currently in the middle of this project and are doing a detailed blog of each step. Please check it out and let us know what you all think.

I am so impressed with the interior of your bus conversion! It is absolutely beautiful! It appears to be like a luxurious ship or a rail car inside. Simply gorgeous! You must be proud!

Almost DONE!
Well I posted a ton of pics on the blog of all the latest progress. The bus is now done for the most part. It feels like a great accomplishment and we are really happy with how it turned out.
