The door does indeed look great. I also love the pic of the flowers.

That is a nice door. I really like the wide entryway.
I feel like I'm slumming in my bus because I have to make a turn through a narrow entryway.
Its kind of like a jungle gym.

Thanks guys!

For us it really has been one of those milestone kinda changes... like it's really sweet to have a nice operating door. And the size of the opening now that the factory door is gone is just amazing.

If you guys get the opportunity to build/buy/modify/etc a front door... do it!

Re: Great White Buffalo - 92 BB All American RE

The same friend that helped with the door came by last Saturday and a little "tow bar" magic began.

I was afraid adding a receiver hitch to the rear engine bus was going to be a chore but after some further pondering it actually went rather well.

Now we just need to finish up the truck side of the equation and it will be time to test things out.

Sorry for the horrible picture.

Looking down on the hitch, it just barely squeezes between the motor mount crossbar and the rear bumper. What do you guys think about welding the hitch to the motor mount crossbar? Besides having to grind the weld if I ever needed to remove the motor and the mount, am I asking for trouble by tieing the two together?

Older Demco Excali-bar I found used at a local bedliner/camper shell shop. 8K pound rating and I like how it stays folded and secure on the bus.
