My bus is a Thomas, it did not have hazard lights as what would be on a car.

The tip lights were the only lights that would flash.

I removed my top lights but this was going to leave me with no 4 way flashers. I looked at the wiring diagram on the inside of the door where the fuses and all of the wiring is, I then disconnected the wires from the flasher control unit that operated the top red and yellow lights. I then found the wires that operated my turn signals and connect these to my controller for the top lights.

now I have 4 way flashers when I hit the switch for my top lights.

All/most?of the rewiring that would be necessary for your change of lights would be easily accomplished inside the access panel.

Bloody hell, there is a hazard lamp switch! Its buggered though. I had to whack it to get it to turn off!

That's funny. There was an occasion with my first bus when I drove it out someplace and traded vehicles with my wife; she had to drive the bus back home. I had left it parked on the side of the road with the 4-way turned on, and at the time she had no idea where its switch was. So she ended up just driving it home that way! Fortunately it was only a few miles.
