I have ordered up four new locking handles for the cargo bays from the (WOW, STILL in business) original American manufacturer. Cost me $160 for a set of four new door handles all keyed the same. It'll take about three weeks to get here.

Also got window blanks ordered up. Custom cut, all ready by Monday of next week for $225!

The only drawback from the adventure was the self-tapping sheet metal screws. They want almost a buck per screw! 5/16 X 1" The largest they have. So I'll be going back to the drip rails and sheet metal window holders to count up how many screws I need...... WHAT a rip!

Anyways, it's good to be back on track. Wife is cashing out her retirement as well so we can get Heavy done right.

Offgr1d, if you're reading this we sent you an e-mail yesterday about the genny.

Ok, I'm having a moment. I'm trying to get some entity to crate offgr1d's generator to ship via LTL to Houston. For four days all I have gotten from several companies are excuses and denials.

Does anyone know a reputable company that is in Las Vegas that's willing to crate her genset? I've exhausted all the resources I know.

Thanks for any help!

Ok, got more work done today. Removing the outer covers of the hat channels to properly blank out the windows and maximize the spray foam thickness in the walls. M1009 also got the legs to the dinner table cleaned up. He also get the steel rust removed and the drip rails painted. He put in a good day's work. Y'all will notice a bunch of blankets in one of the pics. They have refrigerator doors in them. Yes we have our full size frig. from Big Mac coming over soon. So, here are the pics from today with more coming tomorrow:

Sent you a PM. It's not in Tomball, it's near the beltway.

Jest,

Still in the initial stages. Rerouting the coolant lines this fall. I'll have that heater hooked up then. Right now I'm having logistical issues with getting parts. Just my luck right now..........
