Got back a while ago. It's me versus two other people. I'll know either Friday or Monday.

Weekends and holidays off, 8-4:30. I couldn't get a good read on the guy, but he's a really cool person. He seems interested in me, so time will tell.

I have other apps out and they are ALL full-time positions!!!! Bye bye part-time hell!!!!! YAY!!!!!

Well, I got more sub-floor done today. It went much easier since I organized the trailer... Unique cuts can be a p.i.t.a.... But the good news is I have more supplies to use than I originally believed. Plus saving the wood scraps makes creating the wood dash much easier. THIS is going to be FUN!!!!

Here are the trailer and sub floor pics from earlier today, enjoy:

Tango,

Believe it or not, but when I was working inside Heavy, I actually had to take off my jacket and work in my T-shirt just to stay cool enough. I'm still going to have a thermal break, but heating and cooling will not be an issue with her.

Later this morning Jacob is helping me get the radiator in!!!

Once that is done, I need to get the driver side tire patched. Found a nail in the tread and it's got a slow leak... !!!!

M

Twigg,

You need to edit your profile because I have four of your coach seats....

Hey everyone!

A HUGE thank you to Jacob! Jacob, your help was over the top! Thanks for bringing the transmission jack, and all your help. Without your help this job would have taken me weeks longer.

As promised, I took pics as we were assembling the radiator and installing it. We had breakfast at 0730, thanks wifey!!! That allowed the temperature to warm up a bit. Still brisk, but not impossible to start work. We got the radiator in 90 minutes after we began.... However, we forgot an important hose connecting the radiator and overflow tank.... So, with a 45 minute holding penalty, we got creative in getting the hose on since it was located between the radiator and the firewall side of the bus, read very little room to work... After we got that straightened out, the radiator went in relatively smoothly, we topped off the radiator with coolant, put in TEN gallons - I'm going to the store to get another four gallons - and didn't quite fill the cooling system...

So for those of you that are photo junkies, may I present some eye candy for your consumption :

Thanks Twigg. My back hurts, but tomorrow I'm working on the sub floor again. I'm trying to get to trimming the spray foam and running electrical wiring..... One stumble at a time I guess.....

One of the fins had a small cut in it and was slightly bent, so I fixed that. The coil was cleaned, and spun without any issues. Thermostat is set at 193*, and works like clockwork.

Now to fix the driver side front tire and I feel a road trip coming on.....

Tango,

The backache is from being lethargic... It was 58* yesterday. I've been running around chasing paperwork required to move from one state to another. It's the old "hurry-up-and-wait" issues to convert stuff like credit unions, driver's license, et. al. that has burned up my time sitting in offices. Sitting = bored = lethargic lifestyle.... It's good to get back to being active. I was fully expecting to be in some pain. I feel much better today!

Found out yesterday the valve stem had a bad seal. No damage to the tire (YAY!!!!!). $40 later I have a new valve stem and HF does a very comfortable 70 mph down the interstate! I turned on the front heater and WOW she puts out HEAT!!!

Happy times! Today was my first day back in the classroom! LOVE the students, and they enjoyed my teaching! Man this is looooong over due....

Kansas was the right move to make for us. We've never been happier! Wife is beginning her sub teaching next week! It will be good having two paychecks coming in. This will be the first time we've had a two paycheck family in almost SEVEN years! Bye bye obamanomics FOREVER!!!!!

LOL, wife would absolutely KILL you Tango for calling her a Klingon.... She's a Treckker (I believe that's what they prefer to be called, don't hold me to it - I'm just the husband), so I'll casually cover the screen as I'm responding....

As it has been presented to me we are now Kansans.....

M1009 is looking forward to spending Spring Break up here as well. These guys LOVE paintball - my son's passion. Interestingly enough more girls play paintball than guys, go figure.....

Christopher,

We were here last June and LOVED it! My son enjoyed the Christmas Break here as well. The winter here is not nearly as bad as it is in the northeast.

Anytime you want to stop by let us know. We have plenty of room for skoolies!
