what are your bus' details?

It's a Ford?

engine, trans, body, year

I love the interior design. It's so simple yet functional. Gotta love the pole too !

Hey guess what! I just saw your bus with about 12 people in it going south on I-35 between Ames and Story City at about 6:10, wish I could have had my camera out sooner. Didn't realize it was your bus till I saw the side of it.

yep...

that was my brother at the helm and part of the softball team on their way back. I met him at the E 14th QuickTrip to check out how Betty BlueBird faired. All is well cept for the inner three belts that need tightened a bit. They ended up using less oil than we did on our Buffett trip. Only had to add two quarts.... hopefully I can get my homework done on a donor engine cause I would rather put in a bigger engine than just rebuild this one.

its got four belts. lets number em from the radiator to firewall 1-4. 1 is the alternator/air compressor. 2,3. and 4 run everything else, which i dont know off the top of my head but as i checked them while at the quick trip they had too much play. which was proven by me cranking the engine and hearing one/two in conjunction squeal a little. only problem with having a deaf brother (with a deaf softball team) on the bus...they cant hear problems like this starting up i need to just replace the belts, at least 2, 3, and 4 (1 still looks good) but hadn't messed with em to see where all the adjustment spots where at. i did however mess with belt 1 quite a bit since I ended up having Kluesner's welding in West Des Moines fabricate a special bracket for the alternator.

if thats not one big run on paragraph i dont know what is...i apologize, i just woke up...
