Here we go!!

After months of searching, I finally found my bus. It's a 97 72 pax, 37', Rear engine with a Cummins 5.9 and a Allison MT643. It not my first choice for engine tranny combo, but it was certainly near the top of the list. I'm looking forward to sharing my progress here.

WHOA! I love it! Storage underneath is near the top of my list so this bus looks great! What did you pay? (no filters in my brain, don't answer if you don't want to.)

I have been bidding on busses and seeing them go up $4000-$4500. Too rich for me right now. I lost a bid yesterday and was pretty bummed. Then this popped up on Craigslist for $2900!!

hell of a deal! Lucky you, The only thing that could make it better would be air ride! I drive tractor trailers with air ride and I would not have it any other way. I hope I am as lucky find a bus.

After hearing about traveling from some bus dwellers, I'm right proud of my air ride. My 92 Ward Senator rides like a big minivan, sorta. Rides like a Cadillac compared to leaf springs. Easier on all the contents of the conversion to go with air ride, if possible.
