Yep, that is granny smith - apple green. We were sitting in the local "Tijuanna Flats" and my wife saw the ceiling color and said, "what about that color?" I let her make the decisions about the bus. Its our next home and anything can be changed so why not. We put a sample strip next to the curtain color and it is not bad. The curtains will be burgundy color. The floors will be wood grain single sheet vinyl unless we find something better. That way, it is easy clean up and area rugs will separate room areas.

All the letters are gone from the outside. It was a church bus at one time. Hence the name.

If the green is too much and you find that you can't live with it, you can sponge another colour on top of it (like yellow or white). Unlike what many indicate, you can sponge paint oil based paint. It's just a sticky mess and you REALLY need to wear gloves and long sleeved shirts to keep the stuff off your skin.

After heavy rains last night, I found only one leak. What is that little round vent thing in the ceiling between the steps and the driver's seat? I found a small puddle on the floor under it this morning.
I also have dew to deal with. The ceiling is damp all over.

I have a round "vent thing" right there too. doesn't seem to do much other than leak, so I'm planning on putting a 14" roof vent up there.
Why are these roof vents so damned expensive though?

My son stood on the area just in front of the windshield and said there are two small holes on the roof in that area. Maybe antenna?

The round thingy is a passive vent. I ended up shooting a bit of Elastomeric sealant and placing a bit of flashing in the opening to seal the outside and placing a piece of sheet metal cut to fit behind the metal screen (which I cleaned and painted with spray paint as it looked bad). We found we were losing too much of our air conditioning out it (it's directly above the vent of the A/C unit).
As for your ceiling, we had that problem before the bus windows were pulled and rebuilt (only when it rained otherwise too dry in NM for condensation). Once we got things more finished (insulated and the exhaust vent on the range), the ceiling stopped condensating. Except in the bathroom when I take super hot showers. Cracking the window a tiny bit allows the moisture out without letting out all my lovely heat. Turning on the vent over the range hood sucks everything out in a matter of minutes (like about 5-10 minutes) I do need to install some solar powered fan-forced deck vents in the ceiling (on/off switched kind). Particularly in the bathroom hallway (for the shower moisture), the rear bedroom and the salon (to pull hot air off the ceiling in the summer so I don't have to run the A/C).

Having fun today. We just bought a one piece fiberglass shower stall. 36x48 w/ hand rail and two seats. New slightly damaged from Home Depot. They have marked down their one piece stalls for clearance. This thing is solid and not very flexible at all.
I just have to measure twice and cut it for the curved ceiling.
What do you all do about the ceiling where the top of the walls meet it. I am sure it is not going to be a perfect seal. I also have to figure out the ceiling and how to coat it against the shower water, maybe Kilz paint?

Update - Daughter in law came by and helped my wife with another coat of paint on the ceiling while my son and I worked on the shower stall. It was a tight fit. We got the curve cut. Standing it up meant cutting off the step-in trim. Pictures to follow.
