Led dash lights weren't meant to be dimmed so the light switch issue is mute.
Great news!
I accomplished getting the keyfob controlled door lock installed. It took patience that I didn't know I had to get the right parts and test them. Now I just have to reinstall the covering and the gutter edging over the door.

Hello,
I'm installing a one piece shower too, how did you duplicate the curve of the ceiling?

If you still have the front cap interior panel, use the driver's side as your curve template. Then check and trim as needed.

I ran a level across at the highest point of the outside wall, then every 2 inches, I measured up to the ceiling. I transferred this to a cardboard piece, cut and tested it. I made any adjustments until I was happy and transferred that to the shower wall. Read some of my rant about trying to get the 3x4 ft shower into an upright position.

Raise the roof and vault the ceiling.

Now you have head room, and no more curve on the ceiling.

It's a win win.

I know some people have done the roof raise and some love it. Its not for everyone. Thankfully too because I do not want mine raised. But to each his own and do your own thing. Its a personal choice. Both have their own issues to overcome.

A roof raise is actually the easiest way to get a 1 piece shower in there. Once the roof is off, all you need do is drop the stall in...zippo, done with shower.

Do take the time and read of the fun times that people have had around getting a shower stall not only in place but in the doors too. Not really funny, but just the thought of it has to bring a chuckle or two.

Worth thinking about...

Building a shower outside the bus can be a bit like building a boat in your basement. At some point...it's gotta fit through that door.

I was working on a friend's tiny house and getting the huge corrugated panels into the shower wasn't fun but I eventually got em to fit.

Things like that are the reason they build the stix n' staples RV's from the inside out.

And even if it fits through the door on its side, you may not have room to tip it straight up if the diagonal is taller than your headroom. I saw that one in a build thread somewhere...

This is why I used a 4-piece shower (three walls and floor pan). Fits through any door and can be removed just as easily if it fails.

Went camping for two nights at a great free place called Kicco. One thing I am going to say and hopefully nobody else will have to deal with the same error. I forgot to pack the key to the generator!! Argh, it was sweltering! We parked under some hammock oak trees and the weather was 90+ with heavy humidity. Plenty of mosquitoes to enjoy the sweat that ran off me and deer flys were making meals of us when it was daylight. We stayed in and slept alot. Saw a few gators, snakes, cows, and vultures. Ate cold food and promised to put a spare key to the gen in the bus.

Yes, do remember the key next time. Hope you had a good time in spite of that and everything that went along with it.

Good times with the heat and bugs. At least you remembered the waffle maker...oh wait.

I took the cover off the side and got to the wires that ran behind some insulation to the front. I couldn't see what went to what. I had hoped to find the wires to the keylock. What I diid find, I crossed and nothing happened so I put it back the way it was. By then it was time to get back in the bus and change again from the heat and bug swatting.
