I dont know but you can tell me if you know.

Actually, I didnt want to have to walk in and have it look like you had to climb a wall to go to the back of the bus. I will make a "graduated" transition from the one piece to the next. So far its pretty hand for holding things. LOL! That was just how the plywood worked out and what I came up with at the moment. Maybe that will be where I eventually put a front wall?

I also had planned on cutting out a cover for the fuel sending unit until I thought that it would create a spongy spot in a high traffic area. I have it marked well and it will be an easy cut should I ever need to access it. I do have a plate that goes over it, but the rise would be aggravating to me everytime I walked over it.

Putting the floor in was difficult due to the amount of heaters. I thought it would have been easier. Then again I did most of it myself, with some help from my wife a couple days.

I am not going to insulate around the drivers seat. Not sure what I will put there. I didnt want to have the floor above the pedals or have the seat look too high. The stair well will probably be bed liner [Rhino liner like]. We have a lot of dirt, snow, mud, etc here. When I drove school bus I remember how bad the stairs would always be. Now they will be sealed and I wont have to worry about rust getting in there. Yeah, I know, it will stink for a while....

Re: I drank the Kool-Aid

Took it to get serviced this morning. The "bus nut" mechanic was quite impressed with it....actually very impressed. Changed oil, filter, lubed it and good to go! I found a bonus too....a retarder. Amazing the things you find with all the knobs and buttons!

Re: I drank the Kool-Aid

Nothing really. I wanted a place to hang a tv, etc. I've spent too much time in an Entertainer. I like to be able to see everything. It would have also split a window in half, which would drive me nuts. Also, I want to be able to pull a window if I had to without un-building everything. Maybe a curtain or something. Not really sure, just building it as I go. LOL!
