If I fixed that leak....

I bet you could carry on a conversation at 55mph

From the looks of the bottom of the exhaust pipe.... Someone went 6 wheelin'

Nothing parties like a government vehicle! Even rentals are put to shame unfortunately.......

Found an online pic of what connection should look like...
Next time I crawl under bus, I'll see if it's some thing I can handle.

Of course, it's all fun and games until someone blows out the front pumpkin and smashes both a headlight and windshield in a brand new HMMWV...

Or a bunch of kids get busted doing donuts in a reserve base's humvee, because their enlisted buddy is too immature to wear a uniform

Motorcycle strap got me SO CLOSE!!!

I can pull the exhaust pipe up where I need it... But the angle is over bent from impact to exhaust from the bottom, that the turbo flange and exhaust won't mate up enough for the band clamp

So, now I'm thinking about leaving the strap on the exhaust and getting a automotive screw jack and set it on lower horizontal portion of exhaust and seeing if I can spread that bend open...

Knuckle buster? You betcha!
Sketchy? Yep!
Do-able? Dunno, but the price is right!

Tomorrow, I'm going to crawl under bus, and see if I can wedge a crossbar between the frame rails to hold the lower horizontal pipe down while I tighten the green strap from the top....

Also I could run something across the bottom of the frame rail and strap the lower pipe to it, then spread the bend open

It only needs to open an inch or two

Exhaust is repaired!
Guy that gave me the Generac generator helped me heat it, bend it, cut it, and weld it in his shop... No charge.
