ITS ALIIIIIIVE!!!

Good day folks.
A lil update here...finally got my bus running today...IM SO PUMPED! We all have 1st steps and heres mine...darn thing runs pretty good...after stripping down the carb and cleaning it. and farten around with the wiring and stuff...but hey, keeps us all outta truble, eh?!

Thanks demonkight, your are right, those motors are tuff. I was surprised how well she runs, specially after sitting since 2001 and not run very much since 1973. Shes a bit rattly on the top end, but NO SMOKE. After farting with the clutch for most the day (previous owners OVER tightened it. so much it was opposite to normal) no wonder they parked it. Got to drive her, Ok so it was 15 back and 15 feet forward...still counts!

yeah..mines in storage and thats what I tell the wife when I head over to start her up and let it run for a few minutes..as much as I love to drive it, parkings a beast *S*

Hey Chuck, no my bus just has a 1 speed rear end. 2 speed be awsome tho...you could tool down the hiway @ 500 rpm ....IF ONLY!

I may have missed it somewhere along the way, but what straight 6 does that thing have? I find I-6's fascinating. Is it a pushrod engine?
