Re: Jacuzzi Bus V

That is a well written Ebay ad Lapeer. I imagine your auction will do well. Good luck!

thanks! Not too bad for a northern hillbilly eh?

we were/are a little nervous to do a no reserve auction, but it seems to be attracting a lot of attention. This bus was built as a 50/50 joint venture with a friend of mine.

as of this morning with 7 days and 12 hours left:

35 watchers and the bus is up to $2,550. after 3 days only 523 page views though. In the past i've had over 1K page views per day and ended with over 10K total views.

Not to surprising with the economy so messed up at the moment. I am having issues here with a couple of properties that we are trying to hang on to until things smooth out and start popping again. A "no reserve" auction likely has you on the edge of your seat until the final minutes. I bet that was a tough call to make.

up to 51 watchers with only 821 views.

hopefully at least a couple of the watchers are serious bidders.

Re: Jacuzzi Bus V

other problem may be that a lot of ebay bidders gave up on even looking on ebay cause of the way they have changed ebay motors. I was never a serious bidder by any means but I don't really look at ebay motors anymore just cause the new site layout is hard to navigate compared to the old.

Re: Jacuzzi Bus V

she's up to $8,100! That's good news, as that is more than the amount of money we spent on the bus. Still 4 days to go.

Re: Jacuzzi Bus V

it was a risky move, but seems to be paying off. Selling jacuzzi buses is tougher than it used to be.

67 watchers, 1527 page views still 4 days to go

Re: Jacuzzi Bus V

This has been my experiance with non paying bidders...

unfortunatly zero feedback bidders are often phoney bidders that never pay...all you can do if that happens is follow the steps to report them fully (so they go away), and do a free relist.
Sold a laptop recently first auction hit 500~ish with zero feeback no pay winner. Relisted and it sold for 400~ish (buy it now option) with in a few days of the auction going up.

Just be sure and mention in your ad your re-listing do to a non-paying bidder, its kinda OK I think because you get double exposure and the people that are wishing they had bought ur item, get a "oh wow look its back I better hit buy it now this time or never have it" syndrome.

perhaps i should have blocked bidders with zero feedback....or perhaps it will work out just fine.

I see the same guy bid 7 times....looks like he was trying to outbid the previous high bidder and kept increasing his bid amount until he accomplished his goal.

Re: Jacuzzi Bus V

I never block zero bidders, because everyone has the right to send me money....hell you can too just ask for my address ....besides I like the fact ebay lists for free if they dont pay, so its no biggie for me...just more often than not a winning zero bidder turns out false....hope your experiance is better.

Re: Jacuzzi Bus V

Just remember, everyone who opens an ebay account starts at zero. Its not till they get feedback that it changes.

Re: Jacuzzi Bus V

Check "More from the same seller" on the last auction and you'll see it's "Re-listed due to dead beat bidder."
