Jaylin the Pittsburgh Diva a.k.a. the Badman. Here we go!

Greetings fellow skoolers. A few weeks ago we bought a bus with the intention of doing the whole conversion thing as well as build off of it to make an mutant vehicle for that thing out in the desert in nevada. I forget what it's called. Something about a guy on fire.
After figuring out what the hell to do with the damn thing parking wise in NYC and getting a window smashed in, we've actually started making some progress.
First we added a lock to the rear door. Second we've gotten all the seats out. We've saved a few rows, with the idea that we'll turn them into a sort of train style two row and table set up. Additionally we've replaced the busted window-- which incidentally is a pain in the nuts. Lastly we've pulled the roof hatches off and replaced the with 1/4" acrylic to give us some sweet skylights.
Next steps are to lay down click and lock TnG flooring and build a roof deck.

One thing we're getting the sense of is why people love their skoolies. Once you start pouring all the time and money into them they really become like a family member.

We will post some pictures next time.

That's all for now folks!

Chateau Brooklyn signing out.

Welcome Badman

You're beginning to understand our madness.

I've never heard of someone closing the hatches using plexiglass. I'm sure it does add a lot of light.

Keep on working on it.

illustrated updates

Skoolies and Skoolettes,
As promised here are some pictures on all we've been jamming on.
As metioned, we've pulled the seats out and laid in some flooring, put in some skylights, and started work on the roof platform. Most of the pieces are made at this point. We just need to make holes in the roof and ribs and bolt those suckers in. Stay tuned folks!
