3976 miles from Oregon to southern California by way of Minnesota. We have been on the outskirts of Slab City for two weeks.
We will probably hop around the desert southwest this winter. The weather has been off and on. It gives us a chance to see if we have enough electricity this far north. The days are short and the sun is low in the sky. We shall see.

Re: Jerry's Crown

I'm reading this a little late, just noticed the mention of a 12v microwave. There is one been out for about a year now. Some of the bigger truckstops have them. Don't know anything about them and they aren't very big.

Nope... it will never be "done". Something will always come up. Some way to improve something that you had already done or some new improvement that you want.

We plan on spending at least a day or two in Quartzite at some point. It's one of those "you gotta do it at least once" things. Probably en route to someplace else. I don't think I want to spend a week or two there. Too many other places to go!

Re: Jerry's Crown

We are all snuggled in for the winter.
I didn't do much to the bus this year. Just an awning. Still more cabinets in the rear needed.
Got together an electric bicycle this year.

Hope all of you have an extra happy holiday season.
Love to you all
Jerry
