When we were kids and visited other people's houses, my mother would always tell us (or rather me) that if a house was messy, don't comment on the mess.
Aren't you supposed to tear the rototiller down in the winter... on the kitchen table?

In the summer it's permissible to tear it down in the bedroom, otherwise the kitchen table is the correct spot for teardowns.

Re: La Tortuga...updated 08-12-14
so I added a couple more solar panels, 2 @ 100 watts this now is a total of 320 watts;
doing so ment redoing wire panel to fit the controllers
I also upgraded batteries from one 12v to two 6v 215/225Ah ones(dont remember which one)
I made brackets out of 5052 al, this will allow flexing and vibrations w/o cracking, here is my blacksmith area
access cover is removed for water heater install

Re: La Tortuga...updated 08-12-14
I have been roughing in the plumbing after work
This is under kitchen sink, cold will come in, and go to sink and water heater, I have 2 hots, one will go to mixing valve in faucet, the other will be straight hot in a spray nozzle for rinsing/sanitizing dishes
there will be 2 drains here at lowest spot between heater and inlet
Here is behind the wardrobe
and water heater
hot and cold will run along wall to tub and toilet, later

Re: La Tortuga...updated 08-19-14
Look's like you're going to be busy for awhile with your shower and all.
Question?
Are going to shower first then paint? Or paint and then shower?
If you paint first you'll have plenty of time for the water to heat up.
but in this August weather a cold shower might feel better...
Just thinking of you.... Enjoy your shower.....

who knows, she said she is painting it, so I can grab a shower and beer and watch

ooops I forgot pictures

couldnt find dremel tool...so broke out the drill
and file
I mounted switch per instructions on water heater page and then made a sticker for the box
and mde a sticker for my truck
Lisa decided to wash bu for scuffing
Grey, I;m doing good this whole getting ride of blood clots suucks and is a pain...I have wasted/lost most of this summer inside wire out or sickly....better than not finding out and getting rid of it, this will allow many more summers to enjoy

Re: La Tortuga...updated 08-19-14
Oaky so last night we washed with soap/water and scotch brite pads (medium->Maroon)
this morning I went over and de-glossed with a dry scotch brite pad the places missed...hell actually all of it...Mr. Miagi would be proud
today we started off early with champagne cocktails, used rasberry instead of OJ and grinadine
we taped off the turtle "track" and painted it "pebble"...kinda looks gold-ish tan
inbetween painting I had to fix this on my DD.....see whats wrong
I used old skool on side of trail tools...2 sockets and a BFH
so we got the sides done from windows down.......windows up get another color..........
now we need front/back this week
I think it looks alot better, w/o looking Hippy....no offence to hippies...we just are not....we are either Red neck, Hillbilly or Appalachian....depending on our moods

I'm red neck. I have a 30' school bus in front of my garage and in front of that is my daily driver. An extended cab dually pickup with 67 marker lights. I've been to more than a couple of tractor pulls too.
