Right now, it rained yesterday and today. Humidity level is only 79%. My skin isn't itchy.... for now. Normally I itch constantly (dry skin). I miss rain and MIST. I look at your pics of mist and tear up. *sniff - sniff* 365 days until we leave NM (not that I'm counting).

Re: La Tortuga...updated 08-31-14

So I had the throne mounted and needed this

We have a local winery, it's located in the old big dry run road, elementary school (you remember the Steve Earle song Copper head road?) they had to change the name because the signs kept being stolen it's right around the corner........anyways they gave me all (but one) of their labels, I cut them down and stuck to the ceiling, kinda like a non religious shrine

I forgot about the holes in the floor from all the plumbing, and snakes or bees visiting will not be good, so 3 quick plywood covers were made last night

next.........gotta clean and pack more

Love the paint, the throne, and non-religious shrine and good to cover the pipe holes...some guy out here in Cali had his pet Cobra escape and was running amok...you don't need to have to get your flute out in the middle of the night and charm a snake

Re: La Tortuga...updated 08-31-14

day before leaving is always a bitch.....cleaned and cleaned...installed a shoe holder for Mama.....

cut down excess holders...and...

and decided that in and out of the back with tire sucks......so it's mounted under on the frame.....getto hookup...dont try this if your scared or a wuss....
needed a center point for hook; left over chain and bolts

and here comes some getto....

and then add a snatch block....

and crank , crank and chain to frame

hope its not too low....If it hangs up on the ferry...we will grease tire...Spool up the turbo...and use all the power we have...and slide off the boat

I lost about 8 inches on the tire drop...worst case?? take sumbeotch down and throw in mu buddies truck until we get to emerald isle

Y'all are just gettin' too citified! Next thing you know, you'll only go swimmin' in cement ponds and eat fried chicken with a knife and fork.

Very glad you are having a good time! Wonder how that "getto" spare tire thing is going to work on the boat--just grease it up and slide aboard . Jack
