I feel that I always win..but at times, I just nod and say "oh, I didn't think of that". But, of course, I still think that my idea should be doable.

Go ahead & laugh but we've survived being together for 15 years thinking like that. I think it has improved my cunning immensely.

I had him tear down an antique wardrobe to use as walls in the bus. He hesitated, until I walked by him one day with a big hammer...then he broke it down for me, we installed them and I painted them and he had to admit that they look great and were a perfect fit for where I wanted them..
lol. the ol, threaten to beat hubby with a hammer trick!

BC you are correct cheers!

Tango going with expanded metal, the steps are 10.50 wide and then tapered down to 3.25

Nat, yup back to basic's plus it will look better

SDave shouldn't be an issue in the USA, most references I could find refer to 60% or 75% of wheelbase, my WB is longer than 10 feet, so the 70" should be GTG

I will measure total overhang soon and post it

SLOWLY the turtle goes long day outside

I got a little done today before rain sets in

framing in the top, 1.0 x 2.00 x 1/8 wall tubing and 1.0 x 2.00 x 1/8 C-channel

more framing

also started to "tie-in" the stairs and prep for finish work

and my first "selfie" I look real happy, actually was standing on the steps to weld around where ladder didn't fit, I need to get big ladder next

I so want to get this and bath room done in the next 6 weeks, fingers crossed

Very cool! When I saw the first pic I was hoping you had them mounted with some type of bearing, so they would spin as you are driving down the road.

I know. It is art therapy in an attempt to exorcise the demons from the memory of an awful childhood fishing trip that went terribly, terribly wrong . . . .
