Here is some of the ones I made of things that come into the engine compartment.
Great idea!

Nice. What is that flexible conduit your using? Looks like a pool vacuum hose. What are the connectors?

Good eye. Yes...pool hose is pretty tough stuff. And the connectors are just PVC pipe fittings.

THATS GENIUS! What a perfect flex conduit. How long have you had it installed and how is it holding up down there? Im thinking of cutting mine up right now. I never vacuum anyway.

It has been there for about a year and a half...but...my rig is still not driveable at this time. Should easily outlast me though.

I haven't really gotten much done on my rust bus. After taking the seats out and unloading at my shop, it started to pour and I closed up all my windows/hatches and my buzzers wouldnt stop going off, broke one of the roof exits too, so not sure whats going on. Anyway, drove bus home and parked. Went out a few days later, wont start.

Got half the floor pulled up as shown, nice and rusted. I want to drive my bus to my office and throw out what flooring/trash I have away before doing other half, but havent been able to.

So, I've been working on a new a new battery and disconnect. Purchased an Interstate Battery 8D and put into the bay. Decided to take it out and clean everything up. Degreased and did a scuff sanding and rattle canned everything black. Also bought a kill switch, and made a bracket from .063" sheet metal and powder coated it black.

I have been TRYING to make a battery cable, but no one local sold 3/0 awt cable so I resorted to online. NAPA wanted $13/ft, I got on ebay for $4 and change or so. Some copper lugs from Amazon and a multipack of double walled heat shrink w/ adhesive, and still came out less than buying the cable from NAPA.

Just made the cable at work this morning, and going to hook everything up at lunch I hope. The disconect switch already has all the negatives attached to one side, just need to connect this guy to it and battery, and then the positives and I hope to God the bus will crank... if not, I'm going to be pretty bummed.

You're a lot younger than I thought; was thinking grandkid not kid.

Congrats.

I too have the same size bus but isn't it awful big for a weekender? I want to use my for months at a time not even a couple of weeks. But hey, good luck to you.

I was going to tell you to listen to the "kid" CadilliacKid but he's older than you. Still pay attention and try to keep up when he talks about Ac or electronics. He's a sharp cookie.

Run it along the frame rail. Unless your storage is pass-thru, easy peasy.
