Okay, thanks to all who helped me figure out how to post the pictures. To any site administrators, I'm sorry if a picture is too big. Either way, you can see that while the bus was trashed by vandals, the main structural features have been addressed. The main thing being the moving of the front door and steps with the sealing up of the old entrance. I'm not a welder, and to hire someone to fabricate this would have cost a couple of thousand dollars probably.

Windows aren't that expensive, the windshield is flat glass, not too expensive, tires can be expensive, but I'm in no real hurry, and can save up for them. All the garbage inside, on the floor, the old 80's knotty pine veneer, rip it down, leave it on the floor till I can drive it to the dump. That mattress? It looks nicer than what I have now, but it's going to the dump too.

Before anyone says ewww or what a POS, this C class rv has been my home for almost a year. The CENSORED bus is a step up up. Last winter was fairly mild considering past winters here in Canada. It wasn't fun, but I experienced worst many years ago. I'm not aiming to build a weekend get away, or a "shaggin' waggo, " This is my new home. Just this afternoon by the fleamarket there was a bus parked, I thought, "Hey, some advice maybe. " It was just some stoned guy. His advice was: "Don't build if you're parked on a hill, nothing ends up straight." DUHH.

My main goal in becoming part of skoolie.net is to learn from your experiences, figure out what will work and what won't. Any input is welcome, and sorry if I badger anyone with questions.

Ask away! I check my email far too often.... Unless I'm sleeping I get most things within the hour.
It's not badgering if it helps you.
