Lucille launched on Saturday, Oct. 6

Some preliminary data. The first thing I learned about Lucille is she only has a 40 gal fuel cell. So, expecting a 65 gal cell I had to rerun my range estimates. I used 8.5 mpg as a conservative start point. The first leg of our ‘All Points West” tour was to local Walmart of Abingdon, MD. We overnighted Saturday. Midday Sunday we made revolutions for Love’s #537 in Cumberland, MD.

Preliminary fuel economy data as follows : 168 miles, fill tank 12.55 gals = 13.34 mpg! WHAT? I

Just left Ohio .... yesterday there was a harrowing incident ... we were tooling along at 65 mph ... i had just balanced the air pressure @ 100 psi all around (hot tires) trying to find the ideal mileage vs comfort ... when there was a BOOM!!!! Followed by a bigger BOOM!!!! Our escort said white smoke came from exh ... followed by black smoke. Engine was also rattling badly. We got her on an off ramp and shut down

We are just west of St Louis today! Bus is running so well its scary. 65 mph = 2400 rpm so she moves well. The 210 hp option on T444E is a strong pulling engine ... I couldnt be happier about how she behaves on the interstate.. we are headed for Denver and then over the Rockies so we’ll get a look at her high altitude manners soon!

OMG! Is there an app for that?
Or can you kindly direct me to where I might download the code-reading program for my laptop?
It'd be entirely too cool to add it to my torque wrench, ratchets, & screw-sticks.

Underneath the ‘center console’ , where the diagnostic port is, there should be a momentary push switch . Depressing that switch and turning the ignition key to on should begin a code sweep of your active and inactive codes. There’s a diagnostic service manual available here for the T444E that details the process although code interpretation / translation is not part of that detail.

Thanx! It's still dark here in New Hampsha, else I'd be out there checking it out!
Bummer! So it beeps & bleats if there's a problem, but no translation of what it's saying?
Unlike those folx in a galaxy far away and long ago, I never totally got what R2D2 was always going on about...
