I started a blog about my bus conversion, and would love your comments and feedback. You can see what's going on with my bus at http://kristasbus.blogspot.com (For those who knew this blog and post as "Turtle Royale", I've decided I didn't like the name anymore and am now naming the blog "Kristas Bus")

Thanks,
Turtle

That's what I am saying!?!

Police: License and registration
Driver: Hold on, I know it is in here right under my turtle fin...
LOL!

Driver: Can you hold this for a sec, I can't see through the magots?

I actually found one looking for the fin (I'm assuming), then I quickly escorted the wonderer outside. Luckily, that's the only one I've seen. I did some serious scrubbing after that O_O

Re: Turtle Royale

Kudos to you for starting a project like this admiting you don't know much about vehicles or conversions! But it's never to late to start, so we will look forward to seeing how your project develops! Keep up the good work!!

[quote="Smitty"]Hey, I could use that!

Sorry Smitty,

The sea turtle fin already made it onto the garbage pick up a month ago. You can try to track it here in Washington, if you really can't live without it. If I ever run across another decaying fin, I'll be sure to send it your way :P

I see you also fell for the 'aesthetic perfection' of the superior/international combination.... that diesel should make for a really reliable bus. Nice length, too. Are you leaving the metal interior panels on?

Re: Turtle Royale

Smitty, use the front ones for propulsion and the back one for steering... Reminds me of a book I read. The swamp dragon couldnt breath fire and had short stubby wings, but it turned out that when he finally got fire going, he didnt need the wings for flight, just steering as his flame didnt come out the right end... ^.^

Was one of the Discworld books, "Guards, Guards!!!" I think.

Thanks! I'm glad you understand my love for this thing Is yours also deisel?

I don't know if I'll leave the metal interior panels on or not. Did you replace yours with cedar? I thought you just covered the metal. Nice idea!
