Re: Mean Green Tailgat'n Machine

So we are coming up on our third football season and the bus is doing great, except for one thing. It's too damn hot

So when we converted we left all of the windows, but I did put a blackout uv tint on them, also when in storage and during the games I put a Sun shade on the front windows. We also have 2 rooftop ac units. No matter what we cannot get the thing cool let alone cold during the first games of August/September. Plus we are looking at picking up baseball games next year and will really have some problems

Outside of removing the wall skins to insulate and remove windows what are my options. We have to figure something out

Re: Mean Green Tailgat'n Machine

we will be experimenting with sun screen fabric, 6ft x 40 ft rolls about $50

we plan to suspend off roof about 6inches using emt tubing, this will keep roof "cool" to the touch..or should

plan its to get 8 or 10 ft wide, lowes only had 6 ft at time

This is my theory and your mileage may vary, dump trucks and sawdust trailers use it to cover loads
