Also, the current mattress that sucks is about 4" thick ... so it just sits a little higher than the windows. I'm 5'11 and I can sit up with no problem in the middle.

love the door, the paint job etc but i hate the choice of window for that door. you are now blind on the right side

I couldn't agree more, that was the window the door came with, I haggled an RV dealer down to $75 for the entire door, and I don't think it was ever installed, it just had some minor dents in the bottom of the frame. Anyhow a replacement clear saftey glass is the next order of business. I am also considering adding another window toward the bottom of the door for added visibility.

i have to turn side ways some to come in my bus door my to wide shoulders!!!! i'm wanting to do what some on here have done by using a storm door so i can use all the door opening!

yeppers that one reason i haven't gone out and got a rv door. my bed is a normal king size matres.
here is two pics that i got the idea from for using a storm door.

I got the storm door on my bus to but I havent road tried it yet. I should check on it tomorrow. make sure the kids and rift raft have not been in it... dammit im getting old >.<
