Melody Machine

Hey everyone! My wife and I bought our 2001 international bluebird bus about two months ago now. It's been a very fun process so far. Hard but fun. We want to create this post to update you guys with updates, pictures and videos. Feel free to ask any questions. We are hoping to help people along the way and hope to have people help us also. I can say I'm pretty handy but very new to this process. I've been a plumber and also doing construction projects for the past 10+ years. Our bus is named Melody Machine. My wife sings and I play the acoustic guitar. We just recently began to play music together. The bus is the key for us to explore life in a whole new light.

Well it's good you've finally come out of the closet with your bus illness. That's the first step to recovery.

I have a feeling you're going to do a very notable job on your bus.

Have you looked at any converted school buses yet? You are welcome to take a look at my conversion. We are working hard to get it on the road by memorial day.

Alright we removed a window! It went pretty smooth and I'm happy with how it turned out. I'll be posting a YouTube video on our channel soon explaining how I did it.

why didn't you just cover over the window, its less work, gets rid of the problem area for leaks and its going to look better from the outside.

Because I have the rain runoffs over my windows making tough for a perfect seal. I also didn't want to screw the the shell of the bus. Some people prefer different routes but in my opinion I like this way the best. Appreciate the opinion Dave
