Micro Bird Hitch

Hey everyone, I just bought a 2000 Micro Bird and trying to figure out how to get the right trailer hitch for it. Will a normal hitch that fits a 2000 Savanna 3500 work? Can't find any information regarding any of the systems on line so figured I'll just start throwing questions out. Thanks!

Frame width is probably 34 inches. A hitch off of a cab and chassis is where I would start.

What he is saying is you measure the width of the frame rails under the rear of the bus, then you find a class 3 hitch of the appropriate width for that frame. Cars usually have fairly specific hitches, but buses are just medium trucks so most truck hitches will fit. If you're going to a shop anyway they would take care of that for you. Otherwise you might be measuring hitches in junk yards or ordering one and not being sure if it will work.
