They don't chop chop, but they will pump semi-solids.
official gooberment nomenclature; effluent relocation facilitator mechanism.

I would dig a hole about 2 feet and throw some stone in it. If you had to you could build a incinerator to burn trash and waste water. incinolet builds a toliet or you could make or buy a seperate unit

Re: 1974 Model 05 Silver Eagle

I sometimes stay at campgrounds which don't have a dump station, and while there may be one in the area, it is too far to travel or roads are too rough if towing one of those blue tote or turd tanks. My length of stay would require me to empty my holding tanks, but would not be so long that creating a gray water drainage pit or setting up something like a composting or incinerating toilet are worth my trouble. Otherwise, I'd say those are all good options.

For those with macerators, are you filling a waste tank in the back of a pickup truck? If so, what make and model of pump are you using, how much lift/head can it produce? Any other details are welcome.

Thanks,
Christopher

Re: 1974 Model 05 Silver Eagle

i have a harbor freight sump pump that i use when pumping water out of holes i dig to put septic tanks in - if there is water when i get down that far.. i think it would work great to hook up in line after the large garbage disposal unit from the black tank.. (then one could get one of those 250' plastic pipes that attach to this sump pump and run it over to the neighbors field.... )

Re: 1974 Model 05 Silver Eagle

back to the Bus topix..now that I have some free time on my hands, and money rollin in one agian ,I wrote up a wireing diagram.

The system would consit of 4 main parts:

1.Magnum Energy ME-AGS Automatic Generator Start Controllers
http://www.solar-electric.com/maenmeaugest.html
( I would buy the controller , the ME-AGS-N and use remote panel ME-ARC remote.

the reason I would do this, my bus is 100% off grid, and when running the A/C in summer I want the generator to shut off when the A/C shuts off. The ME-arc remote allows me to start and stop the generator based on a few factors including coach temp.

Next part of system:

2. PowerMax 50 Amp Automatic AC Transfer Switch 50 Amp
http://www.solar-electric.com/pmts-50.html
(this is to auto switch from shore power or in my case my inverter or honda eu1000.. Say the honda 1000 is running I'm watching tv. the coach reaches my set temp of 80degree. the controller starts the 4000 watt generatror and this auto transfer switch will switch in 30 seconds from the honda to the 4000 watt generator tuning the A/C on.) follow me?

Next part of system:

3. Midnite Solar 60 Amp 240 Volt Dual AC Transfer Switch
http://www.solar-electric.com/miso60amp240.html

(manual switch used to switch from inverter or honda generator)

4. Regulated Battery Charger
http://www.solar-electric.com/bach2.html

So what do you think? could it work? I'll tell you my A/C system design next

Re: Model 05 Silver Eagle

I applyed today to pepsi to drive the bay truck making local delivery's in roswell,nm. they are suppose to call me for a phone interview in about 3 hrs.If they are ready to hire me I'll tell um soon as I get the truck thru the terminal and returned to prime I'll be in roswell.they start at 48,000/yr. and your home everynight. I have just over 6 months in with prime. If OTR was hr pay based and not by the mile I would hang around. I worked 70 hrs but on;y made 400. last week becuase I was stuck in jersy city. Until they change the way the OTR company's pay it sucks. get your CDL get Your expirence and after 6 months start appying to local company's. I'm done being alone and crying myself to sleep most nights ..its alot like modern day jail. very structured. u sleep **** drive.

Re: Model 05 Silver Eagle

Point blank if your "ON duty" your employer should pay you by the hour. U do tons of work thats on duty like on the dock loged as off duty ...etc. OTR sucks 1 week u make 900. the next 300 and I'm looking for my way out ASAP so if your lucky u may make 1400. u sit in traffic guess what u make nothing. to spend everynight alone in your truck and work like a slave 70 80+hrs is not worth it. drive for 6 months if u can make it that long and start applying to local company's
