Have you tried getting work with the local thespian group? That would allow you do get some more experience in front of a live audience. There are people on some of the RV forums who work at the many living history museums who need re-enactors. Apparently they pay pretty well. One couple talked about working at Westville. We may have seen her at the time that we visited the place in 2007. Being comfortable working in front of a live audience would also be great for character tour guide jobs or story telling gigs.

Re: Model 05 Silver Eagle

Can you give me more details about the A/C ducting. I assume you mean the warm exhaust and not the cool conditioned air. What are you going to do with condensation out the back of the unit?

Re: Model 05 Silver Eagle

I am going to put a drain pan under it. and a hose that runs out and down.i use it every day it works great. The hot air exahast out the back and out the roof and the cold air blows inside! I will be upgrading next year to a mini split system. and will use this as a back up.

Re: Model 05 Silver Eagle

Update :
I been working on the interior by adding tonge and groove boards and staining them in the kitchen. they came out very well.I will proceed with doing the entire inside in these to give it that cabin feel. they add another layer of insulation from heat/cold and noise. I installed a 20,000 btu procomm blue flame heater in the back of bus that heats the whole bus nice. Installed a sunforce 1000watt pure sin wave inverter , and a progressive dynamics converter. heres a few pics of what I have been up to the past 2 months. 99% of battery charging takes place from the 12v generator I built.

almost 99% of anything I buys comes from amazon fyi including parts for my car. always check amazon first.

sunforce inverter is pure sine wave.includes wireless remote control to turn unit on and off.

12v generator. built by me. Honda 5.5hp powers a 105a,p delco 30si alternator. I also have installed a 100amp shunt and meter to monitor amps output at the alternator.must use dual belts or will chew up using only 1 belt. I will upgrade the charging to a balmar 90amp with the smart charge regulator. thy sell the whole kit for about 800. on amazon and put this alternator back on the bus.dual pulley on engine ordered thru amazon.

12v generator

Can be started from inside bus. located under front of bus cab area

Procomm blue flame ventless heater.located in back of bus, fueled from 150 gallon tank under bus.

Looks great. Like the generator build. But please route the exhaust from the honda either into the bus exhaust or out and away from under the bus.

I need to pickup a welder. Im going to use coduit pipe to make the exhaust. When i run it i turn all the fantastic vents on for air flow. It smells inside a bit. Not good. A welder is on my list maybe for next week.

Re: Model 05 Silver Eagle

If you get a welder...get a decent one. And migs are the easiest to learn & use in my book But, everyone I know who bought a cheapo, Harbor Fright flux core mig soon dumped it a bought a "real" gas-shielded welder. The uses for any bus builder/converter are never ending. And the deals on quality unit like Hobart & Miller are better now than they were 10 years ago.

Just my dos centavos. Best of luck. (from a guy who owns & loves his 2 Millers)
