Scraping door, kind of a shame…it was the best piece on this whole bus. It was replaced 1 year and a bit before I pick this thing up…. zero rust.

Isn't the best way to do a build, I needed it mobile to do the work. That's why the floor wasn't removed at the time. Borrowing the dealer plate to move it for the first couple of years was going to come to an end.

Good to see some custom fab work back there, planning on doing a double door on mine. I desperately need a second door to continue. Yours wouldn't work due to the BB taper. What will your final door be?

Barn doors like a transport trailer.

They will open backwards compared to a normal semi....so you exit the pass. side like up front.

With the tailgate down and the railing up the doors are wider than the tailgate and will not open all the way. So the left door will open first so you don't walk around the door and you'll have a platform to stand on while closing the door behind you.

Hey Charlie,

The weather changed drastically from last week...was in the 20's [Celsius]
and yesterday and today it's 8*C and raining.

Thanks for the kind words.

Trying to get the hole filled in before the snow flies....crap, I hate the cold weather.

Happy turkey day....

...on this side of the ditch.

Got the damaged free-bee doors hung yesterday before all the family showed up for grub, still need to install weather strip/seals and figure out a locking/latching....then throw a coat of primer/paint on 'er.

That looks like it could have been a factory option.....you matched the roof curvature perfectly.

Very nicely done, sir.
