Thanks everyone, I think it turned out better than expected.

Took a week off to sand it down [after Thanksgiving]. Got up with the sun, had to wait until the dew dried then sanded until it got to dark to see. Took ME over 50 hours, 5 days....felt like I sanded an apartment building, kicked the crap out of me....arms, shoulders and elbows are defiantly feelin' it.
Cost me $355. for the ICI paint, pretty cheap paint job.

Was toyin' with this idea....
If I make these 10", to fit in between the rub rails they'd be six and a half feet long. Still might be a bit short for a bus this long?
Not real happy with the back of the head where the flames join....think it needs a little more mane or something....back to the drawing board.

Time to get my ass in gear....

Well winter showed up and shut me down for workin' outside, got this done in late fall. These mud flaps were removed from 20 new trailers the company bought [company put their own on] they were throwing them out or cuttin' them up into 6x12" pieces for rubber mounting license plates. They seamed to fit the theme, hunters here call Moose swamp mules and Manac is Can-am backwards [my ATV].

off topic for sure, but every time I see your bus name I think of this scene from one of my favorite old movies.

I always picture you as the man with no name, man.

Wasn't allowed to work on the bus while in storage so we puttered around in the garage with beer and crazy ideas. Waiting for the pieces to come back from being powder coated

Hey Cowlitz, here's a better pic of my roof without a hatch. The three sisters to this bus don't have hatches either. They scraped all three last week, no one wanted them.
