Ebay seller accepted my $15 offer for these 2 4" SS Butt, Band Clamps. So it looks like muffler mod coming. I need to use the jig I made to lift the propane tank in place, I'm sure my muffler weighs as much as Chris does.

Had a blast today and took the bus to the local drag strip. We got there early enough to get a prime location. The wind was pretty fierce, but the awning held up with no issues.........

"we are not racing the bus" - well, that's disappointing

I'm with ya........when I saw the phrase "and took the bus to the local drag strip", my interest was immediately piqued.

You can buy mandrill bent pipe sections and weld your own exhaust at most NAPA stores or online

I was hoping to see your time slip. Oh well I am sure you had fun even without taking a run with it.

In January when we took Thunder cross country we stopped at Skooliepalooza in Quartzsite, Arizona. Youtuber Steampunk Steve did a lot of bus video tours and he happened to tour my bus also. Check it out!

I needed to finish the paint job I did last year. The oil based paint that was rolled on looked good, but needed another coat. The hood was sprayed with grey primer and it was starting to peel so I got another gallon of the Diamond Brite oil based paint to re-roll the previous paintjob and paint the hood. I was actually invited to bring my bus to a truck show and my boss is sponsoring a car show this week so I got it all spruced up.......

It looks beautiful! Love the color choices.

I dunno though... when I first glanced at the pic I mistook the painters tape for your trim paint. And it looked pretty darned good! You ever consider trimming in a similar color?

that blue 'striping' does set the colour scheme off nicely

I like the blue striping as well, then noticed it was tape. Three votes so far to make it paint.

Hmmmm. It does sort of make it pop. Wonder what it would look like if it was red?

I have used electrical tape as pinstriping on old cars before and it lasts at least 3 years. Red electrical tape would make for some really clean lines.

We take the bus almost every weekend to some place or another not always spending the night at places but spending the day. I also drive it to work at least once a week.

Thursday I have a car show to take it to that my boss is sponsoring.
Saturday I have a truck show to take it to.
Next Saturday it will be at a campground while I host the 12th annual Geo Metro meet.
The following weekend we will be taking it to W. Virginia.

I have put 11,000 miles on this bus already in the year and a half I owned it!

Great looking '96...
I have the Handicapped '98 version with 170000 mile great condition no rust. I see you found the manuals for Thomas manuals, did they come with the bus or did you get them off the Internet I could use those especially for the air conditioning. mrboogie@boogieinc.com
