I will have to check my manuals and see if air conditioning is covered in there. I will be putting another video up soon. We have a car show to host this weekend and the bus will be at a campground for the event.

Getting ready for the trip to Skoolie Swarm and Daytona Beach! I took the bus into the shop over the weekend and checked all the fluids, checked air in the tires, greased the chassis, and gave it a good once-over. Everything on the bus is good to go! Thunder has been a very dependable, and reliable bus for us so far.

I only took a week off work, but we are not going to rush the vacation. Saturday afternoon after work we hit the road and will travel as far south as we can but no farther than Knoxville. Probably going to be more like Lexington. Sunday we will drive all day and will probably be pretty close to Florida if we push it. Monday we should arrive at the Skoolie Swarm or we will be there first thing Tuesday morning.

We will spend all day Tuesday and Tuesday night at the Swarm and Wednesday afternoon we will part ways and go to Daytona Beach area where we reserved an awesome 2 nights at a beachfront site in an RV park. Friday afternoon we start heading back home.

I got a sweet surprise when I got home from work today. Mrs Mullet totally cleaned and redecorated the bus while I was at work. Check it out....

Thunder is a T444E with an Allison AT545 transmission and 4:78 gears. This beast has taken me from the North Shore to the South Shore. To the Pacific and the Atlantic. I travel at 58 MPH with RPM's at 2400 and have had no major issues with this bus. On our recent trip to Florida Thunder drove 23 hours straight all the way home without shutting it off and it never complained. We got lost on sandy unmaintained back roads in the Ocala forest and the bus took the abuse with a smile. Thunder took I-95, to I-77, to I-79 North through the mountains and never down shifted or dropped below 45 MPH.

Here are the latest vids from our vacation and some pics for you to enjoy....

Saw your bus at the swarm but it was night time and I figured you were hunkered down. Went back the next day and you'd split.
Maybe we'll meet next time. Glad you had fun and had a safe trip, man.

"Home Sweet WTF??"

Looks like you brought a lot of white sand back with you.....that always happens on beach trips.

Sounds like you got a trooper there, with all that travel and no hiccups. Good on ya.

Ormond beach looks cool -- surprised there's a little rv park between the condos like that -- I'll have to look it up!

I like hitting places like that off season.

Drove the bus to New York today to get some Indian reservation cigarettes. Diesel fuel at the reservation was $1.81 per gallon, so I filled the bus and two 5 gallon diesel cans.

Nice, gasoline near me is down to $1.49/gal but diesel is still ~$2.75/gal. I was hoping it would start to drop too...
