The detail work is beautiful, especially the windows. But I'm having a hard time seeing the full layout from those pictures; aside from the kitchen, most of them are too close up to give me a though impression of what's where. Do you suppose you could post a layout sketch? I'm really curious!

If I build the fire up around 10pm I need to get up once in the middle of the night to keep it going. I do wish it lasted longer than 4-ish hours on a burn but if it were bigger I'm afraid we'd be too warm. All in all I'm happy.
4 hour burn sounds great. Do you have one of those heat-powered fans?

Actually I bought a second hand Dyson fan that I put by the stove when I want to circulate it really well. Does a great job. I haven't experiemented with those stove fans, its a cool concept but I don't know if it would actually move enough air to make much difference. The stove radiates really well.

I should clarify, when I say four hour burn... at the end of 4 hours the fire is just enough coals to relight a new pile of logs. Its still warm, but its not hot enough to burn your bare hand.
